The Ohio Benefit Bank 2011 Community Meeting and Training was a huge success this year. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in various workshops focused on providing a variety of education and informational sessions in the areas of outreach and education, policy, and resource development. Hundreds of Benefit Bank Counselors and Program Partners joined us from all over Ohio at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Columbus, Ohio for two days of workshops, camaraderie, and good food.
Wrapping up the first day of the meeting was the OBB Awards Ceremony and Reception with the Southwest Region receiving two awards! Congratulations to Jodi Stanley (pictured above) of the Potter's House in Scioto county for winning the Counselor of the Year Award and to Diane Walsh of United Labor Agency in Butler County for receiving the Neighbors Helping Neighbors award! These ladies have ensured that those in their communities have received much needed help time and time again, and we are grateful for having them in our OBB Southwest Region!
